UK Federation Membership Charge

Membership of the UK federation is free for all UK government funded organisations with an educational remit as well as all Service Providers. For the sake of clarity, this means that UK FE and HE institutions do not pay a membership charge and neither do publishers providing resources to the UK academic community.

However organisations that are not UK government funded and wishing to register a production IdP maybe liable for a possible membership charge as outlined in item 2.5 of the UK federation Rules of Membership and note 5 of the UK federation Eligibility Policy.

That membership charge is currently £1000 +VAT per annum and is calculated on a pro rata basis from August 1st each year.
